MSPCA-Angell Pet of the Week: Blizzard the cat

It’s hard to believe that this stunning, outgoing and friendly Persian/Bengal-mix cat was surrendered to the MSPCA-Angell Adoption Center because he had fleas.

One-year-old Blizzard has been at the shelter since July 20, 2013 and staffers are hoping to find the perfect home with a family or individual who will value the companionship this wonderful cat is eager to provide. Blizzard is in perfect health and has lived with other cats as well as children. He has never met a dog so any introductions with dogs should be made slowly -- but staffers are confident he would be fine in a dog-owning home.

Blizzard has one green and one blue eye – a distinction that adds to his charm. He loves to be petted and is very energetic. He loves to play and also treasures nap time by the window. He is neutered, up to date on all of his shots and will be microchipped prior to going home.
