MSPCA-Nevins Farm Pet of the Week: Rascal the Cat

Rascal has lived his life on the streets and staffers at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm in Methuen, Mass. believe he may never have had a bed of his own or a family to love him. Despite this, he is friendly and loveable and enjoys the company of people -- especially those who give him cat nip! This senior cat is shy at first, but after a few soft words he softens up and begins to roll around in hopes you might pet his belly. Staffers believe he’d prefer to be the only cat in the household, and he’ll more than make up for that by doubling the number of head-butts he’ll offer!

He would do well in a home with teens or adults as young children frighten him.

He is in excellent health and is up to date on all of his shots. And because he is microchipped and neutered he is ready for his new home today!
