Tips for parents of teens

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Stress levels tend to boil over during the teenage years. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offered tips to help.

They suggest parents:

-- pay attention to your child's behavior

-- show an interest in their school and extracurricular activities

-- compliment them

-- remind him or her that you are proud of them

These tips can help keep the teenage years less stressful.
