Make Boston a happier place by running for someone else's life at this year's Samaritan's 5K run/walk and Family Festival!
This September, find your happy place by participating in the Samaritan's 5K run/walk. This is Samaritan's 15th annual 5K run/walk, and as usual, it will gather smiling faces from all over Massachusetts and raise money to prevent and educate others about suicide and suicide prevention. All proceeds generated from this event go toward 24/7 help-lines, community education and outreach, and grief support to those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Pre-registration for this event is now open and you can register at: https://sna.etapestry.com/fundraiser/Samaritans/5K2013/.
Don't forget, it's a great day to be alive!
The Samaritan 5K will take place at Artesani Park, 1235 Soldiers Field Road, along the Charles River in Brighton on September 28, 2013. The walk/run begins at 10am with registration opening at 8am. Pre-registration is now open until September 18 for $25. Late and “day of" registration is $30. All you have to do now is bring your smile!
