JFK Presidential Library & Museum: Highlight Tours

Do you want to travel back in time to the early 1960s for a charming, interactive look at one of the most influential times in American history? If so, then visit the JFK Presidential Library & Museum and take a “Highlight" Tour!

 

This tour is family-friendly and is free with admission! You'll explore items including footage from the first televised debate, the rocking chair President Kennedy used in the Oval Office, hand-painted closet doors from Mrs. Kennedy's dressing room, doodles from Cuban Missile Crisis meetings, and a piece of the Berlin Wall. Tours are offered daily beginning in the lobby. Check lobby signs for times. Tours subject to docent availability; last-minute cancellations may occur.

 

**The purpose is to advance the study and understanding of President Kennedy's life and career and the times in which he lived; and to promote a greater appreciation of America's political and cultural heritage, the process of governing and the importance of public service. JFK Presidential Library and Museum accomplishes their mission by preserving and making accessible the records of President Kennedy and his times; promoting open discourse on critical issues of our own time; and educating and encouraging citizens to contribute, through public and community service, to shaping our nation's future.
